Maybe there are some places where it is not easy to be green. Here doesn’t seem to be one.

Spring Bumper Pollination

 I thought I would take a few shots of Spring greenery from the bus stop because I thought the colors were fun, but as I was taken the second shot, I heard a series of sound effects.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 It went Honkkk! Shhhh! Crack! Shhhh! Crunch! Crackle! Pop! Pop!  That wasn’t breakfast cereal… it was 5 cars stacking up in the turn lane. 

 

 

 

There was so much traffic I couldn’t get a shot, but then I finally got one of the car most “impacted” by the event.  Just then my bus pulled up.

DDO Gumballs

Dungeons & Dragons Online has gumballs. Usually they hover like giant out-of-reach candies.  But, occassionally, if your Royal Guard Mask fails (or if you fall while fighting in the original dragon raid), you can catch one in your clutches!!

Spring

Flowers. Yup, that's what they be!

Ok, so it is Spring (is it…might still be technically Winter).  But ’tis the time for thoughts of renewal, growth, and all those wonderful things. 

They always get overlooked, but here's to you, bushes!!

Theses bushes got an early start, and I think for once, we should not just stop and admire the flowers.  We should also stop and admire the bushes!! Yes!

Easter and Secular Motivation

 

Arlington Heights Church

Sometimes, if I don’t feel like waiting for my usual bus home from work, I will take this other bus. Then, on my walk home I will pass this church. I love stone buildings… especially churches. They just have such a presence to them.But then, I felt inspired, so I used some flipchart markers and doodled myself some stain glass for my cubicle. I was surprised how, when I am stressed out, I can turn to my “stained glass” and it brings down the blood pressure a lot!

Went to the mall for lunch.  It was tall. I visited a tall mall.  But what I ate was small. I ate small at the tall mall.

There’s No Place Like the Office

They like me. They really really like me.

Well, you don’t see these little boogers running amuck in the streets these days.  Usually they are tucked away in some dank storage shed that hasn’t seen the light since DOS 3.1.  But today a rare “broad daylight siting” whilst I was strolling to get a hair cut!

Seriously, this company has been chewing on this building for days.  Oh well, at least it is fun to watch…and I would say McDonald’s has the last laugh (since this was home to a Burger King), but, um… rumor has it, their building is next.
